Yeah, not much extra width at the bottom so they would have to angle the supports out. Higher would work but I actually like the lower mount so it is hidden while not in use.

Buddy riding in my truck the other day actually mentioned that it looked factory installed. Had to show him install pictures to convince him.
Your install looks great, thanks for the pics of the process. I would have just ordered the dash mount now, but since I have to wait until March to get the truck, I figured i would wait for the 2022 version.

off-topic - I don't know if you are a fan of "that team up north" but I am an Ohio Buckeye fan born and raised - just figured you might like college football IDK

Not a big college football fan, more so NFL (go Packers!) When asked for my favorite college football team I always respond with Western Michigan University, only because I went there.

BuiltRight just released this "Coming Soon" for the 2022 year models. As commented here earlier, this new design solves the "too short" problem with the prior version.

I am still waiting. Impatiently…when will they be available?

Do they need approval from the EPA? Doesn't seem like a difficult re-tooling. Draw in CAD, send to laser cutters, send to brake form, send to powder coat. All of those processes are already in place for the previous model. I'm gettin' antsy over here!

I installed mine with some additional power sockets and an add a fuse circuit that way I don't have wires danging on my dash. Its not pictured but I use velcro zip ties for cable management

I cut some aluminum stock to use as risers under my 67 Designs mount (which is similar to the BuiltRight). The combination of risers and mount is really solid and the risers lift the mount to where it should be. The 67 Designs came out of my 2018 XLT SD. I mocked it up with 3M double back tape to see how it would all fit and it was so solid I still haven't bolted it all down. Please excuse all of the dust and dog hair...lol. It also bugs me that it says RAM in my Ford...lol

Here's a good video of the Builtright dash mount install along with adding a 12v power plug:

Installed the 20-21 Builtright dash mount even though I have a 22MY. I wanted the more stealthy option and figure I can space the ball mounts up if necessary. I am currently playing around with mounting configurations. I will mainly use this when traveling and my sig other is in the truck and we need both expanding cupholders. I installed two Ram 1" ball mounts along with an X-Grip for my phone. I actually prefer the cupholder phone mount and may still use that when it is just me. The other ball mount will be for the Garmin RV890. Something like this is what I am thinking:

I may try to do something similar with the phone mount to get it lower than its current location...

I won't pop the speaker cover back in until I am relatively happy with the ball locations. Probably won't have time to do the wiring until later this Fall or it may have to wait until Spring. I'll just use the external cables for the couple of trips we will take with the RV before the end of the season...

Nicely done! The duel arm will likely make the need for a spacer a none issue. I thought about doing the same thing but our back up cam fits nicely in the dip in the dash. (Another reason I don't like the MY23 flat top dash).

Also, the 4 cup holders are 👌 for long road trips with the camper. We loved it this summer.

I ordered the BuiltRight pieces before the 2022 version was available. Installed my 2021 version BuiltRight into the 2022 Tremor, with the bracket backwards and wedged to level it with the dash top. I made an additional bracket out of 1.5" angle aluminum to install three 12-volt sockets, where I have options to plug any 12V to USB A, B, C, etc. adapter. One socket is wired for live at all times, the others turn on with the upfitter #4, where only hot when the truck is on. I leave the phone on the hot always socket while in the truck. Many options here. For bottom support, I used the BuiltRight base plate but installed inserts so I can remove the BuiltRight panel without removing the speaker and dash pieces again. The two smaller screws hold the bracket in place when the upper part is removed for modifications, repairs, etc.

I added three Ram mounts for various options such as GPS, camera, phone, etc. When viewed straight on, accessory wires are somewhat invisible if tucked down correctly. The feed power cables are run from the side panel fuse box on the passenger side. You also have access to upfitter wires here if you wire them from under the hood. (See manual for this install) I simply dropped the lower glove compartment drawer to gain access to route the wires. Great YouTube videos on how to do lower the glove box. The feed wire is a quad 14-gauge wire so I can run multiple wires neatly through the bottom of the mount area. (Fuses always recommended)

Nice set-up! Do you have a link or name of the 3 output 12V item? I see a variety on Amazon but most look like cheap fire hazards.

Sorry, no part number, just made it out of a piece of angle aluminum and drilled three holes. Drilled holes in the BuiltRight bracket and mounted it far enough back to clear the back wall and enough room for wire attachments. Purchased the stainless-steel sockets on Amazon.

Added the dual arm to the phone mount too to get it a bit lower. Also wedged a bit of rubber sheet under each one for vibration mitigation...
