2022 6.7 Platinum Tremor Ordered

Hey All!

New to the group from Maryland and new the the Super Duties. Originally had a 2001 F150 which is still going to be my truck I run for hunting possibly not sure yet. Order a 2021 F250 Platinum Tremor in July order got switched to a 2022 because I ordered the week the banks closed from what the dealer said. Looking forward to seeing it when it finally arrives.
One question though when do they normally show up on Fords Website as an Order/Reservation? First time buying something not on the lot and dealer said it won’t be until Ford picks up the order. Wanted to make sure I’m not getting my legs pulled.

Welcome to the forum and congrats in the order. Did you get the email confirming your order from Ford? If not you won't get any updates and will need to ask your dealer. If you did get the confirmation one, you will get a second one with VIN and build week.

Thanks! The email I received was from [email protected]. That was the first email I’ve ever received from Ford like that.

This is what my first email looked like. I then received a second similar one that included my VIN and build week.

Nope mine did not look like that. This is what mine looked like. Which is why I’m asking it didn’t look right to me.

You will likely need to ask your dealer if you have a VIN and build week yet then. Once you have a VIN, there are a few trackers you can use to try to follow the build process.

Not sure if one of the dealers on here can help look it up or not. @fordguy74656

Awesome thanks I’ll reach out to the dealer again and see what they said.

Last time he told me that it probably hasn’t been sent to the plant yet or received a build date. He said once it gets picked up/gets a build date which will be a long time I’ll get an update email

Spoke with the sales manager at the dealer. They looked at the order and it’s actually being built this week. They have no clue why I haven’t received any emails but they are looking into it. But I got my VIN! And she sent my the info showing it’s being built
