Selling my 2021 lariat Ford F-250 Tremor, 6.7L diesel, black, for 86k. 3,900 miles. No accidents, no issues. Never even towed with it. Original owner.

Upgrades are the following:
-Carli tuned Back Country suspension with Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks
-37” nitto ridge grappler tires
-20 inch fuel rebel wheels
-PMF dual Fox steering stabilizers
-OUO radius arm drop brackets
-Entire truck ceramic coated (two coats w/ a 5 year rated coating)
-XPEL self healing PPF on front end
-IR Ceramic tint on all windows
-Boost Auto Blacked out sequential LED mirror lights
-Bakflip MX4 bed cover
-All weather floor mats

Already had its first oil change (very, very early). I’m as picky as you’ll find with vehicles. This truck mint! Located in Surprise AZ, a nice drive back to San Diego. Can also help arrange transport.

$86,000

I'm incredibly skeptical any time someone is selling something so new. I just assume it has all kinds of problems and has been back to the dealer 10 times with no fix and the guy is like fuck this I'm out. But, I'm a pessimist.

Otherwise agree with what others said. Maybe it's a deal at 80K, but not 86.

All I can say is some people have more dollars than sense. He bought a brand new high end truck, poured money into it to "upgrade" what Ford engineered into the truck and now wants to get his money out of it. Trucks aren't investments. If it's legit someone should offer him trade value tops.

A deal is in the eye of the beholder.

Remember, there are 7.8 billion people on earth, only one of them has to think its worth 86k.

Vehicles are only worth what someone will pay...
Maybe they went big with purchase and upgrades and then realized they can’t afford. Or maybe they got a good deal on it and are trying to make a buck, who knows.

Absolutely true, except 7.5 billion of those people could never afford $86K for something they need, let alone want. And there's a lot of new Tremors setting on dealer lots as we speak that come with a warranty for the same money or less.

You're right, who knows? Maybe its warming up in Arizona and he realized black on black on black with a sunroof is really hot.

Regardless, its not my cup of tea. I'm looking for a car hauler / utility trailer and decided to type "Tremor" into Craigslist when I was there.

He also posted it on Facebook. I say check it out and offer what you think is a fair deal.

There is a ton of upgrades on it seems reasonable priced to me. but who knows maybe it has been beat or accident? Car FAX??? 3,900 miles it can't be trashed or worn out already.

good point. For the right buyer there's a convenience factor here. someone who wants that exact truck and was planning on doing those exact mods for otherwise fungible mods now doesn't have to deal with the hassle and down time/shop time to get that work done.

If that truck stickers at 79K, he's got a lot more than 7K of mods in there at retail. PPF alone is like 2K for front end. That lift, with all components recommended by Carli is like 8K before install (assuming it has the torsion sway bar, full HD leaf packs, Ford adj radius arms, steering stabilizers), and he's probably got like 3K + in wheels and tires. 86K might not be far off from a decent deal.

I'm not really bored enough to do the math, but I'd say it's worth 50% mods and then I'd check KBB to see what the depreciation on the truck is. To the owner it's "brand new" but it's not. It's a used truck and it lost a ton of value when he drove it off the lot. He needs to eat that loss, not the buyer. People say things like a new car loses 20% the second you drive off the lot. Not sure how accurate that # is, but it's probably not far off.

He buys new truck and says he does not like the Tremor but wants the Tremor Headlights(no tremor lights it’s the sport/black package lights) then he sells the truck and buys new tremor. Now he’s selling the tremor.

Good Grief.

And no the mods add no value to the truck. It should sell for no more than $70k but someone will probably pay more.

I'm getting about 75% of my purchase price (not counting tax)
for my '16 F150! Not chopped liver!
