Doe #2 for some delicious non antibiotic, nongrowth hormone backstrap, steaks, bacon burger and spicy breakfast sausage vacuum sealed and now in the deep freeze. 👍🏻🇺🇸 A blessed season so far. 🙏🏻

Was able to shoot my first deer this year during the muzzleloader season in Eastern WA
Nice! Is that a CVA? I have an Optima, works well. I'm hunting late season muzzleloader in western Washington. Fingers crossed!

Let's see how you did! Figured a lot of people here probably hunt so why not. Today is the last day of archery elk season here in Colorado. We had some cold weather roll in yesterday so I went out in the afternoon and called this 6x6 in. Bugling his head off in the middle of the day. 25 yards solo, my first bull after hunting archery for 4 seasons. It happened just like you see on YouTube LOL! Exhausted and thankful! About to head to the processor.

Nice bull!

Doe #4 and a 1 cull buck now at the processor. The Aluminum basket rack from Northern Tool is getting the job done. Makes for an easier and lower lift than the Tremor tailgate. No mess to clean up in the bed after drop off.
Just hose down the basket.

You are correct, I like this, that self hoisting up on the tailgate is not ideal, especially when you are alone👍👍
