2019 Ford Super Duty Recalled Over Front Axle Issue

Ford Motor Company is recalling some 2019 model year F-Series Super Duty F-250 and F-350 vehicles over an issue with the front axle.
The defect: affected vehicles are equipped with front axles that may contain a wheel end yoke that was not properly welded to the axle tube end.
The hazards: an improperly welded attachment may cause steering effects that could impact vehicle control. This may include pulling to the right or left, misalignment of the steering wheel or change in steering sensitivity that could affect the response of the vehicle to driver input during a hard-braking event, increasing risk of a crash.
Ford is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this condition.
Components: axles.
Affected vehicles: 2019 Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 built at Kentucky Truck Plant from August 24th to October 16th, 2019.
Number of vehicles affected: 10,589 vehicles, distributed as follows:
Owners should: wait for a Ford recall notice to arrive by mail, and contact their local Ford dealer with any questions.
