More than just a wrecked bumper call for advice

https://www.ranchhand.com/2017-2022-ford-f250f350f450f550-sportfrontbumper-fbf205blr.html I was thinking of replacing my mangled bumper with this guy. And a fairlead for the winch line. And it looks like I could do a little cutout to access the plug for the winch controller. @Nick@ApolloOptics...

More than just a wrecked bumper call for advice

I’m pretty sure it’s what you see is what you get that’s why a lot of aftermarket options say camera compatible or something.

I got a pm from a guy already about the winch. I’ll figure that out after hunting season. No action will be taken on the bumper until after I’m done running around in the mountains this fall. Then I’ll figure out what I’m gonna do. Whoever ends up getting the winch I’ll cut you a decent deal...

    WTB black tremor bumper

Thanks man. I figure I should update this. A friend ordered a black tremor just like mine back in February but he’s probably gonna buy an aftermarket bumper on his and said I can have his black one so I’ll probably back burner my trashed bumper until after hunting season atleast when I’m done...

More than just a wrecked bumper call for advice

All, I have now discovered my foray into the realm of jeeps though not disastrous did mess some shit up. I will likely be needing to replace the gas tank skid plate although for how much shit people have talked about the factory one it did save my ass. Further I will also probably have to...

My man! Do you think it would be possible to get a plug for the winch control fabricate it into an aftermarket bumper for access and then have a fairlead on the aftermarket bumper?

More than just a wrecked bumper call for advice

All, I already posted a classified in search of a black bumper. I may have tried to rip mine off with a rock (long story). However, I’m wondering if I should just replace it with an aftermarket option. I have the winch mounted (which did save my ass in said story) and would prefer to retain it...

Jack of all trades truck setup

@ccw super late to the game and haven’t been on in a long time. My use cases are the same as yours you probably already decided what to do but I went with the slide in with jacks. I got a scout made by adventurer rv in Yakima they have a dealer in Tacoma. The scouts are fairly light fully...

Heavy Loads & Hauling with the Tremor

Been looking for a place to put this. Notes I did not check the economy since I didn’t care it had to be done. And I wasn’t going super far (in town delivery) the tremor with the 7.3 will comfortably transport a full box load of top soil ≈ 2 yards weighing between 2200 pounds per yard just the...

Recall: Loose/Sagging Underbody Insulator - 7.3 gassers Drive shaft - Diesel Beast not effected

Well shit. I just hit mine with some 3m spray adhesive and wedged it up with a block for an hour good as new minus the groove from the driveshaft since I didn’t notice sooner.

Has anyone done an exhaust cutout wired to their upfitter switches on their 7.3?

Update 5? Title: “I think there is still a 1 switch solution. However I have reached a 2 switch solution that works, and is kind of fun.” I will provide a wiring diagram when I get a chance to draw it and some pictures when I rewire it so it doesn’t look like shit. Anyway here goes. Power to...

Has anyone done an exhaust cutout wired to their upfitter switches on their 7.3?

Ok it’s too late for me to process this. I will read tomorrow digest and post thoughts. I’m cool with not pm just didn’t necessarily want to clutter this any more than I already have.

Has anyone done an exhaust cutout wired to their upfitter switches on their 7.3?

When I get the 100% solution ill post a parts list and a how to instructions for what I did. I’m not a big content creation guy so no video but I can write step by step lol. If you have the dough I’d go full custom stainless from the heads all the way back cats and all, but that’s an expensive...

Has anyone done an exhaust cutout wired to their upfitter switches on their 7.3?

@paularchibald I have been considering using one relay to do just that and just wire both sides of the momentary switch to the same ground. I think the brain knows if it’s open or closed so if you ground them both at the same time I’m curious if the brain will automatically pick the correct one.

Has anyone done an exhaust cutout wired to their upfitter switches on their 7.3?

@Cory where tf were you when I was trying to pick this thing out. But it’s super cool and in that spot you get throat accelerating and loud when you want to be but just cruising it sounds almost like it’s unmodified I’m really pleased. I’m gonna keep dickering with it and will report back as I...
