Definitely check out Sunset Trail. They have a concave/domed ceiling. Our salesman was 6'7" and he had room left above his head. We didn't end up going that route since the bunks were pretty tight to get in to for the kids... Luckily, you don't have to worry about that for now! Ha
Do you have any play in your Gen-Y offset?? Mine has a little left/right wiggle at the areas marked. I greased the 3 spots where it drops into the puck system and it dropped in super easy.
Any ideas what could be the culprit??
Wife is going to take the truck on Friday to the RV Dealership to...
Installed my Gen-Y 5" offset gooseneck hitch on the truck. It has a little left/right wiggle in it in the wings. If that makes sense.
It was getting dark when I got to it so I'll have to figure out what's going on with that. I'll take pics in the AM.
Any ideas what could be causing that that I...
Did they do the swap for free or did you have to pay for them to do it?
I'm actually trying to get them to cover the cost of the swap for me. Ha. And a few extra freebies. I got 3 dealerships I'm working on.
I do really like the ease of only having the goose ball in the bed. I'm looking at...
Just an update...
The has changed her mind again... Imagine that. Ha. She has now decided she wants to go with a Grand Design. They have a pivoting box from factory so this topic is essentially a moot point for now unless I decided I don't like how it goes with that pivoting box and I want to...
Thanks for the replies so far guys.
Are there any stability issues with going to goose neck? Am I pretty limited when it comes to the "ball" and what receiver I can use to keep the clearance I'd get with a puck/plate system?
Good Morning Peeps!
So I'll start off that I'm the noobest noob that was ever a noob when it comes to the topic at hand... 5'r towing.
I've been researching for the last couple years on campers and hitches and the list goes on! With all that said, I'm stuck on deciding what route to go when it...
My truck took about 2.5 weeks to make it to Granger. I had an offer that was going to expire and they got me in on the day it expired so I didn't lose out on it. I would watch it and when it says delivered, reach out and tell them you have a PCO that's going to expire and ask if they can get you...
I'm definitely with you on all the numbers being confusing as all hell. As mentioned before, the biggest number you're going to have issues with is your payload number, since you have a de-rated truck.
Just for reference, I have a 24 F250 7.3 Platinum Tremor and my payload is 3000 lbs.
We're...
I'd possibly be interested in this. But how would you be able to get lights at the top if it's one solid piece now? Granted I haven't looked at the cupholders in detail, so I could probably find the answer myself. Lol
Would this be as in-depth of an install like the 20-22s were? Not that I'm...
I really like the look of LED light strips that are by the power running boards and turn on when you open the doors. Has anyone added these to a 23+ Superduty??
All the older models look to have a connection under the truck by the rear doors. My 24 doesn't have any wiring that I can see...
What else is there to do on a Sunday when it's 40 degrees out?! Spend 3 hrs cleaning off the winter salt and gave her a polish. Damn AMB sucks to clean but OMG she sure is purdy when it's spotless!
