People having premature failures on the winch themselves. Some related to bad electrical connectors that were rusting out and deteriorated due to water intrusion.
Plus side is If you decide to flip early, you get a prorated refund back depending on how many miles you’ve driven it. So at least you don’t lose everything if you sell.
I saw that the power went out a couple times. But shouldn’t the pre-collision warning system have a back up power system? If not, there’s no way that ship rebooted itself in time to steer again.
Only difference I know of is on the ‘23-‘24 is the OEM ground is next to the drivers side battery now opposite of the Upfitter Harness. I really don’t understand why they would move it from the passenger side closer to the wiring.
When I got in my truck yesterday, I started it up. On the Nav screen as the connection to the phone is loading I got a message stating “vehicle unblocked” for a couple seconds, and then it went away. Has anybody ever gotten that before? I have a ‘24 platinum.
Yeah, I just went out and bought some extra wire. I’m gonna have to run it across the engine bay to the driver side grounding terminal. I heard there’s one underneath the passenger side battery, but I can’t see it. Unless I get a self tapping grounding screw, and put it in the side of the engine...
There are a couple big bolts where the body attaches, but I tried to stick the O-ring in there and tighten it down. it was not sitting properly because the washer is way too big. I was worried the ground wasn’t connected properly because the washer was sitting on top of the rubber not the metal.
Just curious since the OEM ground was moved to the driver side instead of the passenger side by the upfitter harness on a 23–24. For those that put lights or light bars in, are you running the ground to the driver side or using one of the bolts on the passenger side by the battery and harness?
Can anyone with a ‘23 or ‘24 tell me where they are bolting their ground too? On the ‘22 the ground bolt was next to the passenger battery right by the upfitter harness. On the ‘24 the ground is on the drivers side now by that battery on the opposite side of the upfitter harness.
Go to connectivity then connected vehicle features and go on to share driving data. The last picture of what is stored. Expand your post. Somehow my pictures got stuck in your quote.
Mine has been going up to for no reason too. I went into the settings just now and turned off the shared driving habits. This is the one the records acceleration, braking, speed. I already turned the sharing for insurance. I’m pissed I missed that other one.
