Wiring up a 9100 switch pros and I need accessory power under the hood somewhere. I found and tried to put a fuse tap on the 5amp fuse for the upfitter, but the fuse tap will not fit and still allow the lid to be closed. So looking for other options that don't interfere with sensors and the like.
Looks like super expensive trash.
The best dashcams on the market are like 3-400 bucks.
Get on youtube and look up vortex radar and go down that rabbit hole.
I've been running viofo dash cams in my vehicles for about 4 years now. I think 4 in total I've installed. Work great.
Electrically speaking, there is no difference or reason to choose one side over the other. Length of cable run, aesthetics, etc would be the deciding factors
Hot shots is way cheaper. Buy it on Amazon by the gallon and its much cheaper than the store. I've used both and there is no difference in fuel mileage between the two
Go shine a flashlight on them. I don't have my factory taillights anymore but I wonder if there is reflective tape/surface in there reflecting the IR light
I just bought a 21 platty for the wife. Its fuckin speedy. Same engine but detuned it only has 350hp instead of the 400 of the ST. Its a nice car. No issues yet but we just got it a few months ago with 38k on it. Ford also sells a tune for it that bumps it up another 40hp I think and it...
I grew up in the "2 12" subs in the trunk" era. Every dumbass kid with a high end shitbox (myself included) had at least 2 10's in the trunk in a giant box and the trunk buzzed like there was no tomorrow.
It was nearly impossible to tell by sound alone who spent 5k and who spent $500.
