Our rut was really messy this year. Temp was 62 for days and killed it. Now we are back to the 20s. I saw zero bucks so far. 😒

During archery they were all nocturnal here, we got allot of 78 degree days, then it fell to highs of 20’s. Yesterday while field dressing my buck, another one walked up within 20 yards and was watching me, my buddy shot that and tagged out, when we walked up to that buck another one came out to investigate and he was within 20 yards, to bad we are all tagged out for firearms tags.

Congratulations! Funny how they come out like that! Great story!
 
Installed the Recon 3rd lamp.

Before and after. Excited to see how bright it really is at night. Looks much more dim - but that was with the sun on it. I hope not, but I like the lamp being black and beginning to tie in the rest of the lights with the front end. I may paint the screws black.

While we were putting some Christmas decorations out the other day near the creek that runs through our property...
