Tremor Wheel weight & offset

I’m surprised that Discount Tire either doesn’t have them or can’t order them for you as that’s an extremely popular size. I got them from a locally owned tire shop called Tire Link. They only have 3 stores here in town but they compete directly w/ Discount Tire on price and on service. They won me over as I had been shopping at DT for over 30 years now, but I gave these guys a shot, & they gave me a killer deal on my Method Wheels.
Oh, and the “Q” means that they are speed rated for 99 mph, which is the same speed rating as the Stock Goodyear Duratracs.

I ordered mine from Tire Link as well and they beat all other pricing I had from online retailers.

I got your new tire height wrong, I thought you had 37" tires going on and thought there was enough clearance without any additional lift than I looked back into the beginning of the thread

set up looks good
Thanks man! I appreciate that, I’m very happy with it.
Can‘t wait to put even more miles on it now! ?

Cool, you must be on the North Side somewhere then too.
I live in Spring, 5 minutes from their shop but I work in Klein right by Hooks.

When Did you order your wheels & tires? Did they give you an estimated arrival date?

What's the stock Tremor 18" wheel weigh? Does anyone know the stock offset?

** Update:

Stock Tremor Wheels:
18x8 +40 Offset

Stock Tremor Tires:
Duratrac LT285/75R18 tires have a section width of 11.2" with a rim width range of "7.5"-9.5". They also weigh 60lbs
How do the stock Duratracs and wheels perform on and off road? I’ve read many good reviews on Duratrac’s off road ability and have had good experiences with Goodyears on cars and trucks.

Interested in real world experiences on Tremors.

Does anyone know the stock Tremor scrub radius?

Is it negative? (please be negative)

I'm just curious because no matter what aftermarket solution I'm looking at - I find that I'm adding no less than 30mm positive scrub to the truck. I've been trying to find numbers by searching Duck Duck Go and whatnot - but no luck so far.

I feel like without it, we're approaching our tolerance for wheel offsets rather blindly.

Good Tire Calculator to use:
Does anyone know what the weight rating of the stock wheels is? I’m looking at the Method NV’s and trying to decide if I need to get HD’s or if the standard ones are sufficient. Thanks

It happens that I posted this in another thread. See below:

just a pic. Nitto Terra Grappler G2, 35x12.50r18 next to stock Tremor Goodyear.

I'm surprised the wheels are only 8 inches wide for a 35 inch tire.
Yeah Ford was cheap and went with a wheel they already had for the xlt and coated it black. Would love these better in a 8.5 or 9

toyo does recommend a 8.5 wide fir 35.12.50 tires...you could run a 295.70.18 they are about .5in smaller, but .5in wider than the stock size, and they will fit on factory rims
True but what’s funny is toyo offers 315/70/18 at 35.6 x 13.00 rated for a 8 inch?

Method 605
20x10x -24
BFG KO2 35x12.5

No issue putting a 12.50 tire on the stock rim. No rub, no fuss.

Both Discount Tire and Tires Direct will not mount a 35x1250x18 on an 8" wide rim. Company policy for a reason I suppose.

They told me over the phone they could mount a
305/70r18 on the factory wheels and it says 9”-10” approved rims

After reading I have my own dumb question. I’ve used the offset calculator, still kind of dumbfounded. Looking to put on a set of “summer” wheels and tires. Mostly for towing my boat, and a little less aggressive. The rim is a 20” with 4.75” backspace and a -18mm offset. I’m staying stock height with my 22 Tremor 350. Anyone who can point me in the right direction would be great.

If you are looking for a wheel that is flush with the fender, I would recommend a wheel with a +18mm offset.

Do you plan on staying with a 20" wheel? A 35x12.50r20 or a 295/65r20 would be my choice for a tire size close to stock.

A good road tire to consider is the Nitto Recon Grappler or Yokohama Geolander A/T G015:

One problem I’ve discovered running +18 is the side of the truck is destroyed, I even has slush all over my door handle & rear view mirrors. Never even crossed my mind that it would be this bad.

Wonder how much of that is the aggressive 305x70r18 MT/AT as I’ve noticed they throw more slush than stock tires
