This style of caster shims. Not sure which brand as I purchased them from tire shop that did the alignment afterwards. You could also see the darker rubber tire tracks on my concrete driveway when turning and hear the power steering pump working a little harder to turn the tires.

I added 1.5 degrees of caster and it drives like a different truck. No more “floating” feeling in the front end.

I also hated the wandering, but it’s not the tires. I had the local tire shop add 1.5 degrees of caster and do an alignment. No more wandering. Cost me about $250 if I remember correctly.

Took me about 3 hours to meticulously install the Ravelco system by myself, and I installed custom car stereo systems for several years. An experienced installer may be able to shave off an hour if you do this regularly, but I would question the quality of a 1 hour install. Just my two cents...

Had to order mine from the local authorized dealer as well. Took about a week to arrive. Worth it in my opinion. Over two years now with no problems and my Tremor sits for weeks in the winter without being started.

Recommend sending the guy at Ravelco an email to ensure the system works with your diesel. He is good at responding fairly quickly. But be forewarned his responses are usually one-liners without too many specifics.

I just thought of something ... is your truck gas or diesel ? Mine is the 7.3L gas ... so if yours is the 6.7L diesel, make sure they have install directions for yours as I am fairly sure the diesel wire harness designations are different.
