New Tires or New Steering Stabilizer?

This style of caster shims. Not sure which brand as I purchased them from tire shop that did the alignment afterwards. You could also see the darker rubber tire tracks on my concrete driveway when turning and hear the power steering pump working a little harder to turn the tires.

New Tires or New Steering Stabilizer?

I added 1.5 degrees of caster and it drives like a different truck. No more “floating” feeling in the front end.

    What hand gun?

Glock G22 (40 caliber) with a laser sight is my personal preference.

    Gibson Exhaust

It took almost two weeks to fabricate my system and ship it even though their website says “in stock” - Red Flag #1. I took tons of pictures, box before it was opened verifying correct part number, box when open with parts inside, everything laid out in my garage, everything temporary clamped...

    Gibson Exhaust

Yes, I installed their single side exit “cat-back” exhaust system last fall. Absolute nightmare as none of the hangers lined up correctly. Had to cut and cobble it together enough to get it down to the local muffler shop so they could fix it. Love the sound of the system, but probably won’t...

To Sunroof or Not to Sunroof.... That is the question!

Had many, many sunroofs starting back in the 1990’s. Only had a few problems which included a mechanical failure, minor leak from a seal failure, and an exterior plastic trim failure from UV exposure. But I also noticed that as I got older, I utilized my sunroofs less & less. So why risk the...

New Tires or New Steering Stabilizer?

I also hated the wandering, but it’s not the tires. I had the local tire shop add 1.5 degrees of caster and do an alignment. No more wandering. Cost me about $250 if I remember correctly.

    REVELCO INSTALL, 3 OPENINGS!!

Took me about 3 hours to meticulously install the Ravelco system by myself, and I installed custom car stereo systems for several years. An experienced installer may be able to shave off an hour if you do this regularly, but I would question the quality of a 1 hour install. Just my two cents...

    Battery Upgrade - Odyssey ODX-AGM65 (65-PC1750T)

Had to order mine from the local authorized dealer as well. Took about a week to arrive. Worth it in my opinion. Over two years now with no problems and my Tremor sits for weeks in the winter without being started.

    Ravelco Installation

Recommend sending the guy at Ravelco an email to ensure the system works with your diesel. He is good at responding fairly quickly. But be forewarned his responses are usually one-liners without too many specifics.

    How loud is a tremor?

Tread design & remaining tread depth is everything regarding sound level at increasing speeds. Got rid of the factory Duratrac's simply because I could not handle the noise on the concrete highways anymore. Was measuring 79 dB w/ 10,000 miles at 80 mph with the Duratrac's and only 62 dB with...

    Ravelco Installation

I just thought of something ... is your truck gas or diesel ? Mine is the 7.3L gas ... so if yours is the 6.7L diesel, make sure they have install directions for yours as I am fairly sure the diesel wire harness designations are different.

    Ravelco Installation

Get it ordered and I am happy to help you install it. Unfortunately my unheated garage isn't too fun this time a year for installs, so you may want to wait until this spring when it warms up a little bit. I don't understand the residential construction codes in Utah, the contractor insulated...
