If anyone wants a new OEM skid plate and wants to pick up or have me drop off at a garage or you pay shipping from California, I have a new OEM Ford Tremor F250 2020 skid plate that came with the truck, but had to be removed to accommodate a new long range Titan fuel tank. PM me.
I bought a WDH with sway control. I pull a GVWR of 10,000 low profile travel trailer (Black Series HQ17) with an actual loaded weight of 8,000 pounds and tongue weight of somewhere around 800+ pounds and found the WDH helpful but not critical. I tested without the WDH by driving in 60 MPH gusts...
I had one installed. The tank works and doesn't affect ground clearance. I drove off-road a lot. It cost around $450 for install. Check around, I had quotes from $350 to $500.
The challenge is neither the recommended installer nor the folks at Titan that I spoke with were able to recommend...
True; it's hard to find "in-demand" (quality models; especially those that can go off-road or boondock for weeks at a time) RVs or Travel Trailers these days.
I called every RV dealer across the U.S. and Canada to find our HQ17; they're about $60-$69K with shipping, registration, some minor...
I haven't been able to use it since the new Toyota Tundra I was sold to pull the HQ17 cannot pull it legally. That new 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is for sale with about 1K miles on it here: 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Double Cab 6.5 Bed LIKE NEW ONLY 1k Miles!
I bought the 6.7L diesel F-250 with...
Sounds great! I also could not get a sales person to call me back. They eventually emailed me to say that they only have one available in WA and would put me in touch with the seller but I didn't hear back.
We ended up buying a Black Series HQ17. It's very nice and good value. It does have a...
Agree with you on the questions. Also, is there anyone here who can compare across Titan, S&B and TransferFlow?
TransferFlow seem to be made from metal and don't hang down as low? And hold 60 gallons. I did read another thread on here where it was recommended; albeit I'd love the view from...
I only found one place: https://www.superdutyskidplate.com/contact.html
I haven't called them yet, but I also need front skid plates.
Anyone else have other company options?
Very cool. What state are you in? I am thinking that I either have the wrong dealers or that Ford is prioritizing new truck builds with the winches and not providing any for the add on later crowd.
I was thinking that because a canopy blocks one of the cameras that's supposed to provide the 360 degree camera system and trailer reverse guidance, that essentially either removing or placing one of the cameras elsewhere would possibly be an issue. This is what I am trying to figure out.
