What mpg were you getting prior? Do you remember?

What was your mileage before the lift and 37"s?

Anyone Running 37"s on Their 7.3?

I average 14.5mpg with the stock tires running 40psi cold which ends up about 44-45 once up to temp. I am seriously contemplating putting 37"s on the truck but curious what kind of mpg hit I can expect. Lots of feedback from the 6.7 crowd cannot find much from the gasser's. I am considering...

    Level the 7.3L for 37"s

Thanks for the replies. I took some time to read through the linked thread, hard to find a concise answer for the 7.3L. Lots of coil and spring options for the 6.7. It appears the PMF spacer may achieve what I am looking for. What is the required size for the 7.3? the 1.5", 2" or 2.5"? Will...

    7.3L Gearing Question

Theoretically speaking, what if any mpg change do you think there would be between the current 4.30's with 37" and 3.55 gearing on these trucks? Nevermind the rock crawl mode that may somehow be programmed for the 4.30 or less pickup off the line while towing heavy. Just wondering if there...

    Level the 7.3L for 37"s

I know Carli has a leveling kit available for the gasser. I am interested to learn based on experience from forum members, what other options exist to level the front of these gas tremor to accommodate 37" tires. Lots of options for the 6.7 but not so much for the gas trucks. I am looking for a...

Previous or Current F150 Owners with Lifts and 35"s

Some of the tight lots he frequents it makes a noticeable difference. Especially the reduced turning radius, even more so when trying to back trailers into some of those spots.

Thanks. But I posted here because I wanted feedback from current Super Duty owners. Read the second paragraph.

Previous or Current F150 Owners with Lifts and 35"s

It sounds like the fuel milage would end up maybe 2-3mpg, if even, compared to what the 7.3 is getting with its 4.30s and a set of 37"s?

Previous or Current F150 Owners with Lifts and 35"s

Hey All, I am looking at potentially (probably) purchasing a '20+ F150 4x4 for my son. He really wants a lift and 35's which he is willing to purchase himself. My question is, what kind of fuel hit could one expect with that type of setup on either the 2.7L or 3.5L? Say with the common 3.55's...

7.3L MPG issue? May need to be looked at by Ford

Some interesting points raised with respect to the 7.3! I did not realize it was so widely adopted. Thanks for the education. Likewise, with respect to the potential for optimization of these engines versus their overall simplicity in comparison to other engine packages. Superduty or otherwise...

7.3L MPG issue? May need to be looked at by Ford

I guess I am not the only one! I have wondered if maybe I needed to reset the battery or Forscan to allow for a relearn on the transmission shift points to try and smooth things out. Here is a somewhat unrelated but related question. Does anyone feel that the 6.7 is a more refined platform in...

7.3L MPG issue? May need to be looked at by Ford

I average around 14.2 - 14.5mpg (16.4 L/100km) according to the computer with my 7.3 platinum tremor with factory Duratracs. Fluctuates with head wind and driving conditions obviously. That is trip average over the last 3200km's. 26,392 KM on the truck. Mostly rural driving 80-95km average...
